Walk to private Philbin Beach from this charming cottage, furnished and equipped for your enjoyment. This home is ideal for 2-3 couples and kids love it! The house is furnished with care and your comfort in mind. All cotton bedding, fluffy towels, down comforters, beautiful quilts as well as plenty of pillows, both down and allergen-free are provided. Cathedral Ceiling living room is open to a well equipped kitchen. Quality appliances make your life easy. The 10 ft. wrap around deck invites you to spend lazy afternoons outdoors or dining al fresco. Take A 10 minute walk (.5 mile) to wonderful sandy Philbin Beach. Not only is this beach very scenic with it's huge boulders, but it is usually very swimmable, even for smaller children. Other nice beaches are only 2-3 miles away. WE ARE A GREEN VACATION HOME: WE ONLY USE ORGANIC BIODEGRADABLE CLEANING AGENTS, RECYCLABLE PAPER GOODS, ENERGY EFFICIENT APPLIANCES ETC.

Aquinnah Martha's Vineyard Aquinnah is the westernmost town on Martha's Vineyard. It is about 8 miles from the closest convenience store, and a 15 minute drive from a larger supermarket that offers everything. There are also numerous farmstands, offering freshly harvested veggies and sometimes fresh eggs. There are a number of excellent restaurants in the area. The best part about renting a house in Aquinnah are its beaches. There are 4 options: Philbin, the main private beach, open only to residents an guests of Aquinnah. Lobsterville beach on the Northshore, very nice for swimming and fishing. The beach on Menemsha Pond, great for kids and for kayaking or canoeing. Aquinnah is one of the most peaceful, quiet areas on the Island.

Children Activities for children abound in Aquinnah: Besides the beach and all the related activities, there is a fabulous library with plenty of books, dvds, videos etc. and every week there is story hour for little ones. Aquinnah and Chilmark offer childrens camps for kids from age 3-age 14. These camps are open to all, no need to sign up far in advance, and come as you like policy, which affords families excellent flexibility.
