Avon house Rental Property Information

This is a great location for taking advantage of the incredible skiing and snow boarding at Vail and Beaver Creek – both of which are less than 10 minutes away. You simply will not find a better locale in the Vail Valley to take advantage of these great mountains at this price. When you’re not on the mountain, you will love the comfort and tranquility of our newly furnished and equipped home with three bedrooms and three and a half baths that can sleep up to 13 (if you have kids willing to share space). And after a long day of skiing, there is nothing better than getting into our private tub.

Not only is this a great location for skiing, but also for taking advantage of your time off of the mountain and out of the house. For example, you will be within 100 yards of a neighborhood park that is great for sledding in the winter (the playground, swings, and volleyball court are awesome in the warmer months). In the summer, you can play any one of the numerous public golf courses in the area or hike the numerous nearby trails. There’s a gas station/quick mart around the corner and a large grocery store within a few a minutes drive.

The second bedroom has a queen bedroom suite and attached full bath. In addition to being nicely decorated, the bedrooms have high thread count sheets, down pillows, and comfortable mattresses.

In addition to the comfortable sectional (which has a built-in recliner and a hide-a-bed) and the recliner, this vaulted-ceiling room with a view of Vail Mountain has a large dining room table that comfortably seats eight, a bar with seating for three, a 2 top bistro, a gas fire place, a well-equipped kitchen, and access to (I) the half bath with full size washer and dryer, (II) a balcony, (III) the hot tub, and (IV) a large deck with alpine mountain views. In the kitchen, you can find everything you need to cook and serve your favorite meals, including, among other things, stainless steel pots and pans, various baking and serving dishes, a built-in toaster oven (in addition to the oven, gas range, and microwave), and enough glassware (including wine glasses) and Dansk plates and bowls to serve 12.

Features of Our Home This 1994 duplex, which was designed by a well-known local architect, has an attached, two-car garage with plenty of extra parking outside and a ground-floor entrance where you can store your skis, boards and boots. It also has a radiant, floor heating system and a layout that provides privacy with one bedroom upstairs and two downstairs with the family room in between.
