  • The Master Suite Bath Area features incredible views from almost anywhere. It has a jetted tub and steam shower, double sinks, instant hot water at one sink, plus a separate room with toilet, bidet and wall phone. There is a also a vanity area in the Master Suite Bath Area, and a blow dryer. The Springtime Guest Room and the Seafarer's Guest Room have a Jack & Jill full bath with shower between them and also have an instant hot water feature at the sink. This bathroom also comes with a blow dryer. There is another 1/2 bath adjacent to both guestrooms. The downstairs 4th bedroom/game room also has a full bath with shower and a blow dryer provided. The rain shower and sink in the solarium spa room is great to rinse off beach sand, and to use before sinking into the relaxation of the spa's bubbles and jets.

  • All the bedrooms at Owl's Nest Retreat have different themes and color schemes. They are light, bright and airy, and all have HD televisions with built-in DVD players. The master suite features a queen bed, walk-in closet with skylight, sitting area, private deck, steam shower, jetted tub, double sinks, and a room with a toilet, bidet and wall phone and incredible views throughout bathroom and bedroom. The Springtime Guest Room has a light floral motif, a queen bed & CD clock radio and shares a bathroom with The Seafarer's Guest Room which has a beach theme, queen bed and CD clock radio. Downstairs the private game room/ 4th bedroom features unobstructed ocean views and an American Leather queen-size sleeper. This amazing sofa bed is built on a one-of-a-kind platform comfort system so it feels just like a regular bed. There is also a twin-size sofa sleeper. This room features an HDTV and its own full bathroom. It is adjacent to the indoor spa room where there is a rain shower.

The kitchen has every amenity possible including a fondue pot, rice steamer, George Foreman Grill/ panini maker, large flat-surface grill, juicer, blenders, cuisenart, large crockpot, waffle iron, espresso maker, coffee maker, and a large variety of spices. It also features a double oven, warming drawer, touch stove, two sinks, microwave, and large surface area for cooking. All cooking, sink and work surfaces have water views (which makes doing the dishes a lot nicer!) There are lots of pans, bakeware, bowls, plates, glasses and silverware. The game room with ping pong and pool and HD TV has seating for 12. Beach access is a five-minute walk from the house. All long distance in the United States is free. House is wired for wi-fi and you can get cell signal. (Many houses in the area do not have cell service due to location.)

Large Well-Equipped Kitchen is a Cook's Dream! The kitchen is complete with double ovens, a warming drawer, microwave, two separate sinks, a five burner touch-panel stove and all the cooking gadgets you could want including Cuisinart, blender, ice cream maker, George Foreman Grill, hand mixer, baking sheets, coffee maker and much more. Best of all, every work surface faces the water, so whether you are cooking or doing the dishes, ocean views abound. There is also a separate bar area with a SubZero with ice maker and bar seating for four. The breakfast nook also seats six and the dining table eight, so up to 18 people can eat at the same time.

Nearby amenities include spas and winetasting. Owl's Nest Retreat is just minutes from the The Links at Bodega Harbour, one of California's most challenging and scenic golf courses. The course is open for public play, with easy access from the Clubhouse parking area to Doran Beach and the Bluewater Bistro Restaurant. It is 20 minutes from a fabulous spa and winetasting. There are great ocean-view hikes within a 15 minute drive.

Golf Information: The Links at Bodega Harbour is five minutes from Owl's Nest Retreat. This course is nothing short of stunning and was listed as a Golf Digest 10 Best Resort Courses. The first four holes take you up and away from the ocean in a true links-style layout. At the top of the course on the number 5 tee box you are truly 'King of the World' with a view unsurpassed in Bodega. You then make your way down towards the ocean on the remaining front holes. The back nine is wider and a little more gentle than the front, and on the finishing holes right next to the ocean you have waves right next to you on the other side of the sand dunes. Who cares if you miss a shot, the view makes everything worth it!
