Fripp Island cottage Rental Property Information

Fripp Island's most comfortable three-bedroom, three-bath Davis Love Drive cottage is a perfect place for a fun-filled family vacation or a group golf outing, retreat, family reunion or a Parris Island graduation celebration. A free golf cart and a man's and a woman's set of clubs are furnished with the rental. Ocean Creek's fairway 17 is right in the back yard. Free wi-fi and cable internet and TVs in all bedrooms, as well as in the great room. The large screened back porch is a great place for coffee or to watch the deer that roam freely on this Low country resort island & nature preserve. Brand new gas grill. The kitchen is fully equipped --from china dinner service for eight to specialty seafood cookware. The electric stove and overhead microwave make meal preparation a joy. There is off-street parking for two cars alongside the golf cart, so park your car (s) and enjoy your stay.

On the coast of South Carolina, Fripp Island is a popular, but not crowded resort just over 20 miles from downtown Beaufort. One of the oldest towns in the South, Beaufort is steeped in a rich history that is celebrated year-round by various festivals and events. The Big Chill, The Great Santini, Prince of Tides, Jungle Book, Forest Gump, and GI Jane are just some of the movies that have been filmed in the area. In addition to its many gourmet restaurants, and wonderful antique shops, Beaufort is known for its mild climate and almost-year-round golfing, boating and fishing. Also just a few miles away from Fripp Island is South Carolina's most popular beach, Hunting Island Beach, in Hunting Island State Park. Fripp Island is a barrier island and a wildlife paradise. Low country marshes, 3 1/2 miles of Atlantic shore beaches, a marina, abundant wildlife, two top-notch golf courses, and Camp Fripp for kids makes Fripp Island a great all-year-round-vacation spot for the entire family.

At the time you request availability, please let us know if you want these cards and how many.
  • Rates also include linen service, beach towels, and a starter paper product kit. A 'good guest' rebate is also available for those guests who treat Fripp Island Getaway as if it were their home.
    Military families will be honored with a 10% discount on rental fees.
    Although the house can accommodate 10 people, there is an 'extra person' charge of $140 per week for each person over 8 people, including children.

Fripp Island Getaway The Davis Love III Drive cottage is perfectly located to take full advantage of all of the amenities of this upscale gated island resort. In the back yard is one of the two championship golf courses on the island. Designed by 1997 PGA Champion, Davis Love III, Ocean Creek is ranked a 4.5 Star course by Golf Digest. A two-minute walk will get you to the gorgeous three-mile-long beach in one direction, and the Marina in the other. Ply the beautiful backwaters on your own in a Carolina skiff, kayak or canoe rental, or take a dolphin, shelling or sunset cruise on The Fripper pontoon boat. Use our free golf cart for a fun way of getting to the Olympic Pool Village or Cabana Club Complex. The Olympic Pool Village offers both elegant and casual dining, and several interesting shops. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Cabana Club Complex has a heated pool, a hot tub, two separate children's pool areas, a sand playground, a casual restaurant, and an outdoor bar.

Nature Preserved Bring your binoculars! In addition to osprey, herons, and snowy white egrets, there are more than 175 species of birds that call this 3,00-acre island home. Deer roam freely on the island, while raccoons and alligators are also spotted. Between May and August, loggerhead turtles come ashore at night to nest. Dolphins are often seen from the Fripp Island Bridge and the 18th hole of Ocean Point Golf Links. Camp Fripp was especially created to teach children 3-12 about the abundant wildlife of South Carolina's easternmost sea island.
