Stevens Pass cabin Rental Property Information

Located in the mountains just 60 miles from Seattle, Mountain View provides an upscale getaway. It is a recently remodeled classic northwest Lindal Cedar chalet cabin, with the front wall of windows framing an in-your-face view of Mt Baring looming above the clear green water of the Skykomish River. On clear nights you can star gaze from the comfortable sofa in front of a fire. There is a mountain and river view from the living/dining room, loft, kitchen, and the private hot tub. The cabin has a wood stove/fireplace, fully furnished kitchen, comfortable beds, quality linens, fluffy towels, fire ring, WiFi, flat screen TV, deck rocking chairs, and seasonal fishing right in front of the cabin. The cabin is 30ft from the river on a low bank with easy access to the river, with both gentle rapids and a calm fishing/wading/cold water swimming area. Woods are on two sides of the cabin for privacy. It is large enough for family vacations, but intimate enough for romantic getaways.

The Stevens Pass Historical District and Greenway is part of the famous Cascade Loop Scenic Drive with spectacularly beautiful rugged mountains covered with an abundance of evergreens that keep it beautiful year round. There are numerous waterfalls and whitewater rivers with crystal clear water. Because much of the area is national forest and wilderness areas, development has been kept to a minimum, making it a great place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of nature. There are numerous great hiking trails ranging from easy walks through old growth forests to steep climbs to glacial lakes and alpine meadows-some trails are open year-round. The area is not 'touristy', yet attracts thousands of visitors yearly due to the outdoor recreation. The cabin is close enough to Seattle (1.5 hrs) for a day trip. Another closeby attraction is the Bavarian theme town of Leavenworth on the east side of the mountains with unique shops and good restaurants in a mountain setting.

  • Rates are for dbl occupancy. Each additional person over age 5 is $20/night, $100/wk.
  • Three-night minimum on major holidays at the weekend rate. Holidays are Valentine Day (2 night min), Presidents Day weekend, Memorial Day weekend, July 2-5, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving/weekend, Dec 21-29. Midweek & weekly rates not available during holidays.

    Stays shorter than required minimum accepted within 2 weeks of arrival.

    $65.00 cleaning charge is waived if the cabin is left clean.

    Christmas Eve & Christmas are rented together $500; New Year's Eve $295.

    A weekend is Friday/Saturday nights and are rented together unless reservation is for 4 or more nights or one of the nights is not available.

    Anyone under age 21 must be accompanied by their parent. Exceptions are made on an individual basis.

    Rental agreement must be signed.
  • Reservations can be made with a 10% nonrefundable deposit on a Visa, Discover or Master Card. The remaining 90% balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. There is a 30 day cancellation/reschedule policy. If a cancellation/reschedule is made less than 30 day prior to arrival there is no refund unless the cabin can be rebooked in which case 90% is refunded. The deposit can be transferred to a future reservation if a reschedule is made more than 30 days in advance. Credit card must be valid through the duration of the stay.

The hot tub is covered with a glass roof that blocks the rain but not the view. It is accessed directly from the cabin, so you won't get wet or cold getting to the tub. Basic satellite TV programming.

Pets/Smoking/Allergens Sorry, there is a strict 'No Pets' policy at Mountain View. Smoking is allowed outside as long as the smoke doesn't enter the cabin and butts and ashes are properly disposed outside. In order to provide a low allergen environment, colognes and incense are not allowed in the cabin. Due to fire danger, candles are not permitted.

Romantic Getaway Package Customized package that can include wine, champagne, sparkling cider, chocolates, flowers, hot tub aromatherapy, cheese & crackers, terry robes & slippers, ultra luxurious sheets. $50-$150.

Skiing Information: Mountain View cabin is located 23 miles west of Stevens Pass Ski Area. Discount lift ticket vouchers are available. The cabin has an equipment storage room.
