This rustic log cabin is part of a 24-acre farm nestled on a private mountainside that adjoins thousands of acres of US Forest Service land. Enjoy the sunset on our wrap-around porches, the view of 3 states from the mountain top just 1/2 mile drive above the cabin or the wide creek and covered bridges in the valley below. Explore the 3 barns and horse trails and rest assured that you will enjoy total privacy upon entering the property via 2 electronic gates. The cabin has 2 downstairs bedrooms, a large loft bedroom that sleeps 6, 3 full bathrooms, central air and heat, new kitchen & appliances, a rock wall with a fireplace and built-in TV, 2 sets of washer/dryers & wireless fast DSL internet. The high windows open by remote control & air flow is such that there is a constant breeze through the cabin in the hot summer months. World-class whitewater rafting is only 7 miles away on the Chattooga River.
