Michigan's Lower Peninsula. This full log home sits on a bluff about 30 feet back from and overlooking the river. There is a stairway down to a 12X16 foot dock which gives access to the water for such things as swimming, canoeing, fly fishing, & kayaking. The large living room, kitchen & dining room flow together to accommodate large families & friendly gatherings. The home features 1queen bedroom downstairs, & 2 queen upstairs, plus the living room has 2 queen sofa bed futons for additional sleeping. All bedrooms have closets as well as dressers for your belongings. In the pantry/utility room, you will find playing cards and boardgames. We provide a washer & dryer, laundry soap, softener, & bleach for your needs. The home sits on a stretch of river well known for it's Brooks & Brown Trout population. (Fly water only!) Ample supply of all bed linens, & towels available. The home provides the use of a one car attached garage. Additional parking available for 8 cars.

Grayling, MI is located just off I-75 about 85 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge. The property is 6 miles West on M-72 from Grayling, & one mile South off M-72 on Arrowhead road to Tamarack circle, second road to the right to 111 tamarack circle. Day trips can be taken to, Mackinac Island, Traverse City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, & Macinac City for unique shopping & dining establishments. Every year the last weekend of July, Grayling,Mi., has an 11 day festival for the Ausable Canoe Marathon. Gaylord, Mi. & Traverse City, Mi. both have festivals in July. The Cherry Festival in Traverse, & the Apen Fest in Gaylord. Don't forget the Hex Hatch mid June to Mid July!

Garbage pickup on Monday's. Please remove your trash to the dumpster at roadside.
The house has a septic tank, therefore no garbage disposal is available.
This section of the river is for fly fishing only. The catch and eat season runs from the last Saturday in April thru September 30. The rest of the year is Catch and Release ONLY!
With the use of the provided river equipment, the renter takes full responsibility for any personal injury. The home owner is not liable.
