Brownfield, Pequawket Pond house Rental Property Information

This beautiful home sits on 10 wooded acres on the Saco River in Maine. Built in 2001, this home features wood moldings and hardwood floors. The family room boasts a cathedral ceiling and dramatic floor to ceiling windows. A wood stove and ceiling fan complete this room. The modern kitchen has tile floors, granite counter tops, stainless appliances and a separate dining area with slider out to one of the large decks. The master bedroom suite is on the first floor with a full bath. Two more bedrooms and another full bath are on the second floor. The river is approximately 400 feet from the house. The property is very wooded and there is 650 ft. frontage on the Saco River. The river is extremely clean and swimmable with a sandy bottom. It is a wooded river bank setting. It is illegal to alter the landscape in any way 150 feet from the river.. Canoing and kayaking are popular on the river and there are many rental sites nearby. Nearby Swan's Falls offers excellent fishing.

Twelve miles from Brownfield is North Conway, NH, a bustling resort town with great restaurants, tax-free outlet shopping, a movie theater and year-round community events. This area is also a mecca for skiing and boarding enthusiasts with Shawnee peak in nearby Bridgton and the Mount Washington Valley nearby. Forty minutes from here is the Sunday River ski resort.
