Rental Rates for the villa in Costa Rica, Central America



Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • With a group of 10 people you are paying as little as $36.00 per person per night.
  • Rates are based on a flat weekly rate of $1800.00 per 7 calendar days for four people. Each additional guest will be billed at $300.00 per person per week. Holiday weeks Christmas, New Years and Thanksgiving are $2500.00 per 7 calendar days, $350.00 per extra person per week . 10 person maximum. Additional guests (over 10) are charged at $20.00 per extra guest per night. This entitles your group of two to ten people full use of the main house, pool house and grounds. Stays of less than 7 days are prorated and subject to availability, three day minimum. To see if your desired dates are available call toll free 1-866-4ME-CASA (we are one hour behind Eastern time, 6 p.m. in the eastern U.S.= 5 p.m here) from the U.S.
  • Discounts available for all levels of scholastic, special needs and other special groups. A 10% discount is available for certain payment arrangements, call for details. You will receive exclusive use of the entire private main house and swimming pool, Jacuzzi area as well as the grounds for the term of your rental. Reservation deposit : 50% due to hold a confirmed reservation, balance due upon checkout. Damage and Security deposit: $500.00 (refundable).

Staffing: Depending upon your groups needs, standard every other day maids service, on site self-service laundry, internet and fax is provided free of charge. However, if you are looking for a more accommodating vacation, daily maid service, laundry, chef, translator/Spanish teacher, massage therapist and chauffeur services are available at an additional, affordable daily rate. Adventure tours: Our proximity is very close to several landmark adventure areas. The Eco-lodge hotel is our neighbor and boasts “The Best” canopy tour and offers guided hiking and horseback riding. The mysterious Lake Coter sits behind us where fishing and boating excursions can be arranged, as well as on Lake Arenal. Other lake activities that are nearby include world class wind surfing, sunset volcano cruises, shopping or relaxing at the Tabacon or Baldi hot spring resorts. Venado Caverns, Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, and Arenal National Park are nearby protected areas and are a worthwhile day trip by car

Enjoy the many adventures available or simply relax in our indoor glass pool/jacuzzi area and enjoy the tranquility and majesty of your surroundings.

Tourism with a purpose. In an effort to help the Costa Rican National Park system finance education, outreach and protection. Red Sunset of Guanacaste will devote a full 50% of each commission gained through our sales of adventure tours sold toward this goal. With the added benefit of specialized access to individuals in the tour system that make it all work. Tribal leaders, guides, and park directors.

What you can expect at 'The Sunset' Five beautifully appointed bedrooms featuring Costa Rican art, hand carved beds and doors with bathrooms en suite The entire property is a showcase of Costa Rican art, decorative tile, stone and craft work. Two of the bedrooms feature custom designed gas fireplaces. The downstairs master suite bathroom features a hot tub built for two. Large library/ living room area with wrap-around couch, television, Direct TV, VCR, DVD, stereo. Large dining/presentation hall with a variety of available seating arrangements.

Guest Book The Sunset was absolutely perfect for our group of three families. Patrick's experienced advice allowed us to go out on fabulous day trips (at a discount)!!. Food was fabulous!! Staff was unobtrusive but most helpful. Could not pick a favorite activity or meal that was served!!! Sue and Tom: Exceeded expectations!!! Expect to see beautiful view of lake/volcano and fall in Love. 'Unexpected Heaven' this house was amazing! We could not have found a better place for all of us. Huge beautiful house with all that anyone could want. Clark and Angela: A fabulous place for groups. A beautiful home in a beautiful location.
