The fact that more than one million tourists visit Costa Rica each year does not happen by chance. Our country, located in Central America, is an isthmus where life seems to have created its roots. Covering only 0.03% of the surface of our planet, Costa Rica has approximately 6% of the world's biodiversity. Playas Del Coco is located in the Northwest Pacific region of Costa Rica. Just 20 minutes from the Liberia airport along paved roads is Playas del Coco, Costa Rica’s oldest fishing village and the area’s central hub. Here, the old and the new blend with a bit of a honky tonk feel. A growing, international ex-patriot community resides alongside long-established Costa Rican families. Moored to the left of its three-kilometer-long beach are Coco’s traditional commercial fishing boats; to the right, a fleet of boats geared to the tourism trade. And in town, old-time sodas and pulperias coexist with high-speed Internet cafes.

Further Details for the house in Costa Rica, Central America
Guest Book Mark & Beth Oxford, Pennsylvania I could not have selected a better place on earth for our vacation than Sleepy Cove at Playa del Coco. We experienced surfing in Tamarindo, zipped through the rain forest on the Monkey Trail, and enjoyed wonderful lunches and dinners in Coco. Every morning we woke to a wonderful breakfast full of fresh fruit and samplings of the local foods of Costa Rica. Pura Vida!Gail & John Hilton Head, SC We stayed in this 'little piece of heaven' in September 2006 and thought we had found paradise. The views are indescribable! The accommodations are first class. The thing that we most liked was the beautiful living areas and the negative edge pool for gatherings, yet the home has separation and privacy in the bedrooms for peaceful resting. Each bedroom villa has it's own living area and seating on it's balcony. The design of the home is wonderful. There is good shopping and great dining only minutes away from the house, yet you feel like you are all alone.
