Beach Access Just A One Minute Walk! This beach oasis is just a one minute walk to two sandy private beaches in Green Hill. The waves at Green Hill are mild but rideable, the water cold (I'm not gonna lie!) but fabulous, and there's rocks to find starfish and crabs in (hours of fun for your children). Our road is quiet, lined with several small cottages of almost all owner residents. Green Hill Park is just a short walk away, featuring tennis, basketball hoops and a playground with swings and slides and things to climb on. Our beach home is nestled in the Green Hill community with narrow streets and little traffic, perfect for walks with little ones. Within close proximity to Trustom Park with nature trails and bird watching.
Both Flat Streets And Rolling Hills With Views. Take long (or short) walks. Ride your bikes and enjoy the view from so many different spots in the neighborhood. We live in an exclusive area of the Rhode Island shore. There is beautiful greenery, including the landlocked greens behind our home, and ocean abound! Come and enjoy the view. We also live a couple of miles to Shelter Cove Marina in Charlestown where you can rent a kayak (discounted rates with rental), a small motor boat, take a sunset cruise or enjoy friend clams or scallops at the famed Johnny's Crab Shack. There are about 5 ice cream spots, a general store and two large supermarkets all within a close proximity.
Area Attractions include Newport and Watch Hill Green Hill is a small beach community that sits between Matunuck and Charlestown. Within 10 minutes are excellent restaurants, beaches, and family fun spots. Westerly, RI is just 15 min's away, where you can find movies, water slides and a boardwalk. Narragansett offers mini golf, the Block Island ferry and great Clam Cakes at Iggy's. We are local to the famed Newport, RI ('the Gold Coast'), Watch Hill and it's famous Carousel, and Jamestown, a quintessential East Coast boating town.
