This is great for the celebrities who have stayed here (ie. no paparrazzi), and its also good for families with kids-- the kids can run around outside and you don't have to worry about them wandering off. And while it is in the exclusive estates area called the Movie Colony, it is not a 'gated community' -- ie. It has street access. It is walkable to downtown shops as well as nearby tennis courts.

Accommodations The villa contains five bedrooms and can sleep groups of up to 11. In addition, the estate contains 5 bathrooms, a heated pool, billiards room, gourmet kitchen with catering pantry, great room with tumbled marble floors, imported Italian tile bathrooms, citrus orchard, and extensive landscaping under gigantic palm trees. Perfect for families, groups, retreats, or honeymoons. Many performers, artists, and musicians have stayed at the villa while working on a creative project. Winter and Spring Activities Spring is high season in Palm Springs with many guests flocking to the warm desert for healthy and sunny activities. This includes tennis, hiking, mountain climbing, horseback riding, nighttime star gazing, day trips to Joshua Tree National Park and over 100 golf courses nearby. For those who wish to snow ski, there is also nearby skiing at Big Bear. Of course some vacations are all about relaxing, and the Villa is perfect for sipping drinks under the palm trees by the pool in the warm sun, thinking about those cold blizzards elsewhere. High season is also the time for a long list of entertainments in Palm Springs, including the Film Festival, PGA golf tournaments, the Coachella Music Festival, and tons of others. Be sure to visit the Palm Springs Art Museum and take an architecture tour -- you can see where Elvis, Cary Grant, Elizabeth Taylor, and Jay Leno lived.
