Suggested airport alternatives Less expensive flights to the area may be obtained when flying into Ft. Lauderdale, Sarasota, or Miami (all about 2 hours away) rather than Southwest Regional Airport in Ft. Myers. Also, try Jet Blue and Southwest Airlines, both fly into Ft. Myers.
