Airy, bright, sky lit layout, with an open living room and kitchen, and a separate dining area. High ceilings in living area and two bedrooms. Beautiful wood floors throughout. Very large master bedroom is located on the left side of the house and on the right side you will find 2 other bedrooms and one full bath. When not used for sleeping, the third bedroom easily becomes a very bright and welcoming extra living space. Two bedrooms have large windows facing the lake. Upper scale home with a beautiful wood-burning fireplace in the living area, large windows for views of the lake and tall trees, and tasteful decorations throughout. The house has a deck on the main living level and a partially covered patio area on the lower level. TV, stereo, DVD. Fully equipped kitchen. Dishwasher. Washer/Dryer. Towels and linens provided. Firewood provided.

Dock at lakeshore -- perfect for swimming, boating, fishing. Outdoor tables on deck, on patio and at lakeside. Gas and charcoal grills.

Perfect spot from which to explore Downeast Maine. Branch Lake is one of Maine's premier lakes -- 6 miles long, 120+ feet deep, clean and clear. Great swimming, fishing, boating. 30 minutes to Acadia National Park (great hiking). Close to several charming towns (Ellsworth, Surry, Blue Hill, Bar Harbor, etc.). While close to all these places, the house itself is 4 miles off the highway, via dirt roads. Available year-round. Fall is for foliage and festivals. Winter is for quiet, exquisitely beautiful landscapes, and a host of winter sports. Spring is the great awakening -- fishing and birdwatching are both at their best -- a chance to savor the long days without the summer crowds. Summer hardly needs mentioning -- boating, swimming, hiking, fishing, relaxing -- classic Maine!
