Our spacious apartment features three bedrooms, two full baths and a service area with washer & dryer. The Master & Second Bedroom as well as the large living room & dining room area all have sweeping views from Sugar Loaf to Forte Copacabana. Located in Edificio Praia 'Beach Building', a classic art deco era building with dignified entry and 24 hour doorman, our condo is one of only two penthouses covering the entire oceanfront side of the building. We are located in the most desirable area of Copacabana near Posto 5 close to Ipanema and the best dining and nightlife in Rio. Our Condo has all new and high quality furnishings, pillow top mattress beds, designer architecture, and marble & hardwood floors. Most importantly, however, we are right on the beach - right on Ave. Atlantica. We're sure you'll love our condo and appreciate all the free amentites we provide.

We are located between Rua Xavier da Silveira and Rua Bolivar by Posto 5 towards Ipanema end of Copacabana just a short walk from Forte Copacabana, Aproador & Ipanema. Nearby notable landmarks include the Rio Othon Palace Hotel and the world famous Help Disco. You can find many wonderful small juice stands, coffee houses, restaurants, and other shops just a few steps away from our apartment. Of course Copacabana beach is right there - waiting for you.

Our penthouse condo comes equipped with a complete kitchen including all dinnerware, pots, pans, etc. Each bedroom comes with two sets of sheets and one blanket. A total of two towels and one hand towels are provided for each registered guest. More towels are available upon request, within reason. There is air conditioning in the three bedrooms (central a/c via mini split system). Our condo has cable television with English speaking channels, wireless internet access and a washer & dryer.

Condo Layout & Size The floor plan consists of approximately 2500 square feet of exquisitely decorated living areas, including approximately 80 linear feet of direct ocean front views from the living room, dining room, and two of the bedrooms. The apartment has a foyer, a formal living room, a formal dining room, a sitting room, three bedrooms plus maid’s quarters, 2 full bathrooms plus maid’s bathroom, and 2 separate service entrances in addition to the main entrance. The flooring is mostly rose onyx and Brazilian mahogany. Much of the furnishings are crafted of solid Brazilian imbuia wood.

Amenities Additional amenities include free of charge washer & dryer, a VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone with free International incoming and outgoing calls to the US and many other countries, free high speed internet access via WIFI router, and digital television service including CNN International, BBC World and several movie channels, in English. Location & About US Edificio Praia is located close to Posto 5, directly on Avenida Atlantica between Rua Xavaier da Silveira and Rua Bolivar, the most desirable part of Copacabana, a short walk from Ipanema, Aproador and the best dining and nightlife in Rio. Every weekend an “art walk” of various vendors sets up on the median in front of our building and offers a wonderful selection of art from canvass to sculpture. The apartment is owned and offered to you by the Martinez-Moyer family which has been providing quality vacation rentals in Honolulu, Hawaii for decades.
