San Luis Pass house Rental Property Information
Treasure Island at San Luis Pass is a birding, fishing, and shelling paradise. Nowhere else can you find such a variety of activities to please everyone. After a fun day in Galveston at Schlitterbahn or Moody Gardens, spend the evening on the porch watching the sunset. Or fish from the lighted San Luis Pass fishing pier which is within walking distance. Mornings are the best time to walk along the miles of remote beaches while watching flocks of Pelicans and Roseate Spoonbills and collecting the best shells on the Texas coast. You can also rent a kayak, schedule a wildlife tour, or hire a guide for bay or offshore fishing. IMPORTANT: This is a residential neighborhood with many year-around home owners. Please be respectful.

Treasure Island is located across the San Luis Pass from the west end of Galveston. We are located on the bend where the Gulf of Mexico goes through the Pass into Galveston West Bay. It is an awesome sight! This is a bird and fishing paradise. Six miles of remote wide beaches and the best shells on the Texas coast. Just 20 minutes into historic Galveston for Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, fabulous restaurants, historic Victorian homes, the 1860 Grand Opera House and much, much more.

| Notes: | We provide a starter kit of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, & coffee. Please shop before arriving as only convenience stores are close. Guests will have access to the locked security garage to store fishing gear, coolers baby strollers, etc. This area also contains the BBQ pit, beach toys, beach chairs, a wagon for hauling stuff to the beach, and 2 plastic dining tables with chairs for outdoor dining. Smoking is allowed outside on the porch. Please put your butts in the sand pot. |

Rental Policy, Extra Charges We only rent to 'families' with a responsible attitude. This is not a party house. Absolutely no graduation, prom, fraternity or sorority groups with or without adult supervision. Our home is NOT available for rental to groups or individuals celebrating Spring Break, Beach Party weekend, Mardi Gras, graduation, weddings, receptions or parties of any kind or size. Treasure Island is a residential neighborhood. ** Extra Charges: Rates are for 10 persons. $10 extra per person, 15 person max. $25 per day for R/V, motor home, etc. 3 day limit.
Security Deposit, Cancellations and Weather **Security Deposit: A security deposit of $350 is required upon making reservations and will be returned within 10 days of departure. Any damages, excessive cleaning charges, or late departure fees will be deducted from the security deposit. Payment is required 30 days prior to arrival if made with a personal check. The security deposit does not limit your liability. More overnight guests than the maximum of 15 will be cause for eviction and loss of deposit. **Cancellation & Weather: A full refund will be given if reservations are canceled 30 days or more before the arrival date. If cancellation is less than 30 days, the deposit is forfeited unless the house is re-rented for your canceled date. We will do everything possible to fill that time slot so you do not lose your deposit. Ask about evacuation refunds policy.
Keys, Reservations and Payment: **Keys: Arrival- A key will be left in the lock box. We will either call or email you with the combination to the lock box prior to your arrival. Please remember to write this number down and have it with you. Once inside the house, there are multiple sets of keys for other members of your party. **Keys: Departure- Leave all keys in the house except the one key which you will put back in the lock box after locking all doors and windows. There will be a $25 charge for each set of keys not returned. We don’t want your money; we just want the keys. **Reservations & Payment: The full rental amount is due 30 days before arrival if paid with a personal check. Credit cards are accepted. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
