We are in the Pocono Mountains. Big Boulder is less than 2 miles. Lake Harmony is 3 miles. We are in the best community, it is called Brier Crest Woods. Hickory Run State Park is about an 8 mile drive, must see Boulder Field. Pocono Raceway is only 2 miles, you could actually walk to race. Jim Thorpe is a short drive. Head North to Scranton Area to enjoy Coal Mine Tours. Camel Back offers Skiing in Winter and a Waterpark in Summer is only 17 miles or just Shop at the Crossings. Big Boulder and Jack Frost offer many different venues throughout the year. Penn's Peak is where you'll find concerts, just a 15 minute drive. 40 minute Ride and you're at Bush Kill Falls walk through the Water Falls or Shawnee Ski Resort. Wilks Barre is where you'll find Pocono Downs and Mohegan Sun Casino just a 25 minute drive at Pocono Downs. Mount Airy Lodge just Opened as the First Casino in the Pocono's and it's only a 20 minute ride away.

  • 5 Bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms are located on the main floor. One bedroom has a King with TV, 2nd bedroom has 2 twins, 3rd Bedroom has a Queen. Downstairs you'll find the 4th Bedroom with a King and TV and the Kids Bedroom with a Full Size Bottom Bed with a Twin Bunk above. All Sheets are provided. We only buy 300 thread count sheets. All Bedrooms are large in size except for the bedroom that has two twins. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated. There is a queen size sleeper in family room, not a cheap one with the bar in the middle to give you back problems.

Location and Attractions Our home is conveniently located for all seasons. Skirmish, whitewater rafting, biking is only 12 miles away. Hiking through Hickory Run State Forest, must see Boulder Field is only 8 miles. Skiing at Big Boulder is 2 miles, Jack Frost is 8 miles they are sister mountains so you can ski or tube at Jack Frost in the morning then go Big Boulder after dinner or a nap. MoheganSun at Pocono Downs is 20 miles. Pocono Raceway is less than 2 miles. Shopping at outlets is 15 miles as well as Camelback ski or Camelback water park. Jim Thorpe is only 18 miles. Our community has a fishing pier, life guarded beaches only 6 houses away... 'Walk' to lake, play ground, basketball and volleyball. State game lands are within 1 mile you can also walk. Home backs up to private game lands. Wildlife galore... Deer and turkey can be seen daily through the yard. Don't feed! There is use of a 3 person Sailboat for the lake. New Mount Airy Lodge and Casino is 20 miles away.. Split Rock is a 10 minutes.

Home Our home has been painstaking renovated. Constantly changing and updating. All bathrooms have ceramic tile floors. The Family Room and Living Room and Dining Room have Pergo Floors with Large Area Rugs. Our home is tastefully decorated with comfy furnishings. There are 4 TVs, 2 DVDs and 2 VCRs with many Movies to choose from. There is a piano in the Living Room and 50' Plasma TV. Our Family Room has seating for 8 with a Large Bar Area with a Mini Fridge and a Sink along Pool Table and Gas Log Fireplace. There is a separate Play Room / Mud Room down stairs. Washing Machine, Dryer, Over The Range Microwave and of course Dishwasher are among the conveniences. Our oven has 3 shelves for the baker in the family. There are two Decks, the front deck is covered for protection from the weather in winter and summer. The rear deck is outside the kitchen with Picnic Table, Deck Furniture and Gas Grill. Winter has views of lake and through the mountains to the lights of Big Boulder Ski.

Sail Boat Our home comes with use of a 3 person Sail boat. Sail boat may only be used at our community lake. It is so much fun for the older children to go out and learn how to sail. It is a small 6 foot boat. You can also use the boat to row on the lake if you don't know how to sail. Sail, Row and Fish on our beautiful lake.

Skiing Information: Jack Frost and Big Boulder are Sister Companies, so you can pay one price and ski both mountains. Passes are cheaper before October 31 and always order on line for any savings. They both offer tubing for the non-skier. They both have bars and offer many different venues throughout the year... Jazz Festival... Celtic Festival... We accept credit cards.

Golf Information: Golfing is every where in the Pocono's. Jack Frost just opened a Golf Course. Split Rock also has one.. They say the Pocono's are North Side of Myrtle Beach with many champion Golf Courses, we have only played a few...
