There is a washer and dryer in the family bathroom and all the amenities of home away from home. Sorry. No Smoking and No Pets allowed in our home. Our children have allergies. Thank you.

  • There is a master bedroom with a king size bed, a 2nd bedroom with two twin beds and two bedrooms on the top floors both with queen beds. There is a full futon in the lower level. There are toddler bed guards in a closet if needed. We have a pack and play in the closet. The house can hold more than 12 people but that is all the beds we have as of now. If you're willing to bring sleeping bags, an air mattress, or cots, it can hold more. But please indicate to us how many total people you intend to bring. We prefer related families or close friends who will care for our house as if it were their own. Square footage includes the partially finished lower level which is heated and walks out to a deck with full windows (futon down their). Check with us before you come to be sure we haven't changed the beds around...

We will provide linens and ask that you remove them and bring them to the laundry area before vacating. Kitchen is well equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, glasses, and containers. Lower level is set up as game room/bar area and has pull out futon. There is a deck off it. Great as a children play area or additional bedroom.

Welcome to our Lake House! We'd like to welcome you to our lake house! We've owned the house for a few years and we thoroughly enjoy using it ourselves several weeks a year. We rent it when we're not using it ourselves. Because of that, we have it furnished to utilize for us and also for you. Whether you come in the summer for the water fun, come in the fall for the beautiful fall foliage, come in the winter for the skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing, or come in the spring for the hiking, golf, and fresh air, we hope you will RELAX and find this a retreat you'll want to enjoy year after year! -Marie Presti, Owner

Boaters/Improvements For our Boaters... NH requires all drivers of boats and water vehicles to have a license. Parker Marine located at the tip of Alton Bay (about a mile and a half away) has boats for rent and can be reached at (603) 875-2600. Gillan Marine is about 12 minutes away and also offers boat rentals ((603) 875-8848). There are over 200 islands on Lake Winnipesaukee, some private and some open to the public. We'll be updating each room over the next year and hope you like the improvements. For example, in Sept 07 we just installed all new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen including new stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Last Spring we purchased all new furniture for the family room. Who knows what new items we'll have by the time you arrive!

Gunstock Mountain Information for Winter Fun Less than 30 minutes away is Gunstock Mountain which is great for downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, or snow tubing! General Info: Vertical Drop: 1400 feet Total Acreage: 220 (trail and glade) Snowmaking Coverage: 80% Number of Trails: 51 12% Novice, 61% Intermediate, 27% Expert Lifts: 7 (1 high-speed quad, 1 quad, 2 triples, 1 double, 1 conveyor) Night Skiing: 21 Trails, 5 Lifts Snowboarding: All Trails, freestyle terrain park and wall (its the closest 12 acre park north of Boston!) Thrill Hill Tubing Park – NH’s Longest Tubing Run!
