Englewood villa Rental Property Information
This brand new luxury villa (completed 2006) is set in its own half-acre plot, just minutes from the delightful Manasota Beach. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and a huge en-suite bathroom. Patio doors lead to the pool area. The second master suite has a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and patio doors leading to the pool area. There are two twin bedded rooms, each with a spare roll-away bed. The family bathroom is situated between these rooms. The villa has a formal dining-room, a quiet lounge, a dining-kitchen, family room, laundry room and a larger than average double garage. The salt-water pool with waterfall, is fully screened, heated, and the deck has two separate covered 'lanai' areas for when the Florida sunshine proves a little too hot. The villa is situated at the end of a quiet cull-de-sac, close to conservation areas. Venice with its numerous restaurants, shops and theatres is a short drive away. Supermarkets etc are 6 min from the villa.

Manasota Beach is situated in the South Venice area of Sarasota County. The area abounds in Golf Courses and beautiful beaches. The coastline in the main has the beaches separated from the mainland by the intracoastal waterway. Manasota is one of the few places where this is bridged, so access is easy. 11 minutes drive will bring you to Venice, a truly wonderful resort, with theatres, upmarket shops and restaurants (try the seafood, it is out of this world) and wonderful buildings. 6 minutes drive will bring you to the shopping plaza where you can buy all your daily needs, and a great deal more. This is also the junction with the main road, which means easy accessibility to the rest of Florida or to and from the airport. The Manasota Beach area is a mixture of old and new houses, all individual - you won't find estates or subdivisions of like houses here. Many of the houses are set in their own grounds, as is our villa, affording privacy and peace after your day out.

| Notes: | The extra large pool deck has a full size dining table and chairs, and there is ample room for sunbathing or sitting in the shade. In addition to seating for 10 around the table there are 4 sun loungers, while two of the dining chairs are recliners with ottomans. All patio furniture has luxury padded cushions. The pool benefits from a salt-water system, which means no harsh chlorine to dry your skin, and bleach your hair and swimsuits. The water is the same salinity as your tears, so no more red eyes, and the water is so soft that it actually benefits your skin. The pool can be heated for the winter months. The large garden has a lawn and flowering shrubs, part of the rear garden is a conservation area for nesting Scrub Jays. Bicycles are provided for your enjoyment, as there are many quiet lanes to explore. Nothing too energetic as the surrounding area is pretty level! |

Manasota Beach Manasota Beach is the most delightful beach you could wish for. The sand is pure white, and the sea is just superb. The area is unspoilt having only a toilet/shower block and some covered picnic/barbecue tables. There is adequate parking, which gives access to both the beach and the intracoastal Waterway, where fishing is a must. A lifeguard is present during the season for your added peace of mind, but the beach is very safe for families. During the spring gopher turtles make nests in the sand, and these areas are always roped off to ensure you don't disturb a nest. A favourite pastime is searching for fossilized shark's teeth along the shore. In the evening take your favourite drink with you and stroll down to the beach to watch some of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see, as night falls across the Gulf of Mexico. The Manasota Beach area is truly Florida the way it used to be before the arrival of theme parks and freeways - an experience not to be missed.
The Villa The villa is built to the latest specification and the highest standard. No expense has been spared to create a luxurious home. The furnishings have been lovingly chosen and there are many extra touches. All linen is provided, including beach towels. There is ample china/glassware and cooking equipment for the largest of families, and with a choice of dining areas every meal can be enjoyed to the full. The local supermarkets stock a large range of 'ready to cook' meals as well as the basics, so you can spend as little or as much time as you wish in the luxury kitchen. The separate lounge allows those who wish to escape the TV in the family room, to find a quiet haven for reading or simply enjoying the view across the pool to the trees where the Scrub Jays nest.
Conservation The villa is built close to a conservation area for the protected Scrub Jays. These delightful birds nest in the trees all around. The part of the garden behind the pool is protected for them, as is much of the surrounding area. Being situated at the end of a shell lane means there will never be traffic passing the door, and you will be able to enjoy the natural surroundings which make this part of Florida so unique. You may be lucky enough to see some of the gopher turtles in the garden along with squirrels, and some of the other beautiful sub-tropical birds, which abound. It is sometimes hard to believe that from this haven you are just minutes from great shops and restaurants. All this and the beach too - truly a 'one-of-a-kind' holiday experience.
Golf Information: There are numerous golf courses in the area, where the skill levels range from keen enthusiast to professional player.
