Spanish Wells house Rental Property Information

Windswept sits on a sloping waterfront lot on the south shore of Russell Island. Just far enough away from the little fishing town of Spanish Wells so that you can enjoy your own personal paradise, but close enough to enjoy all of its benefits, like the grocery stores or gorgeous beach that is 1.5 miles of sandy perfection. If you are a fishing enthusiast there are great bonefish flats just offshore where you can spend lazy afternoons fly-fishing. At Windswept the ocean is truly your backyard with access to the water right outside your back door. With steps right down to the water you will feel as if you have your own private island. Swimming, snorkeling and kayaking can become a daily routine. A two-person kayak is available to paddle along the shore line or over to a neighboring beach. You just might get lucky enough to meet the dolphins that live around the island. After a day out on the water, come home and have a relaxing bath in the jacuzzi and then a film in the mini-cinema.

Spanish Wells is a place for those who want to vacation in a Caribbean island that is still pristine and peaceful. It is a quiet fishing village where one can relax without kitschy or loud tourist attractions. It is in a perfect location, situated between Harbour Island and Eleuthera. Harbour island, a tourist mecca, is a 25 minute ferry ride away and Eleuthera, a mere 10 minute boat ride. Both of these islands provide extensive opportunities for day trips. Spanish Wells is connected to Russells Island (where Windswept is located) by a bridge and it is the quieter of the two islands because it is just beginning to be developed. But because the island is so small it doesn't take too long to get anywhere.

Fishing A day fishing and/or snorkeling the protective reefs just off shore of Spanish Wells can be arranged. Kayaks and paddle boats available for your use. Day trip to Harbour Island can be arranged. As well as collection to and from the airport at North Eleuthera. Golf cart rental is available on the island. Also catering is available, please email for more information.

Back up power source There is a back up generator that is kept off the property, just in case the power goes off. Also a back up water supply.
