Belgrade Lakes cabin Rental Property Information

If you want peace and quiet, 200 feet of waterfront and great fishing within feet of the cabin, this is the place for you! Newly renovated, the cabin boasts a new kitchen with new appliances, new wall-to-wall carpeting throughout, and Monitor heat, just in case. It is a bright and cheery place where you can relax and watch wildlife from the sunporch or fish from the dock or provided canoe, with access to Messalonskee Lake. You can even walk in to the sandy bottom stream for a swim! There are books and games, TV with VCR and DVD, boombox with CD player and a loft where the kids can play or camp out in sleeping bags. The nearest house is at least 300 feet away, yet access is very easy and within minutes of shopping, movie theaters and entertainment in Augusta.

Augusta is the state capital where you can spend a rainy day visiting exhibits about Maine in the State Museum and visit the Revolutionary period Fort. There is antiquing available in any direction you travel. A fine Shakespearean theater exists in the neighboring town of Monmouth with performances throughout the summer. There are local festivals, agricultural and state fairs and music festivals galore. There is plenty to do to keep you occupied or just sit and enjoy the loons!

The 5-gallon water cooler which was provided for cooking and drinking purposes no longer works properly. I am providing three gallons of bottled water and ice to begin each rental. Please note that tap water is clean lake water but not suitable for drinking. Well behaved pets with flea and tick prevention will be considered. Adults in wheelchairs would have difficulty maneuvering inside.
