Looking for a true mountain cabin experience A place secluded, peaceful and without neighbors.This mountain cabin is 4500 feet atop High Top Mountain in Heath Peak. It’s hard to believe such seclusion can be minutes from Downtown Waynesville and Maggie Valley located about 2.5 miles off I-40 and about 2 miles from Socco Road. This cabin is close to it all, yet you’ll never know it sitting around the outdoor fire pit with friends and family. Rather it’s roasting marshmallows sipping on hot chocolate with family or downing a cold beer with friends telling war stories. This is where you’ll want to be. Our rap around deck with a BBQ grill and picnic table make for a great time grilling or just plan relaxing gazing at those starry nights. Inside we have the ole time wood burning stove makes for cozy evening with that special someone and a glass of wine. For your entertainment we have a 32inch Satellite TV with VCR/DVD. All rooms have TV and satellite.

Nearby activities include skiing, ice-skating, tubing, snowboarding, whitewater rafting, hiking, horseback riding, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah National Forest, Cherokee, Arts, Crafts, Antique Shopping, Mountain biking, the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, located on 20 minutes from Chimney Rock, visit the land of waterfalls, world renowned golf courses, several to choose from.
Skiing Information: Cataloochee Ski Resort just around the switchback!!! What an EPIC ski season we had last year. I'm sure this one coming will be just as good! So book early those desired dates won't last long.
