NOW TAKING 09 RESERVATIONS...Enjoy wonderful ocean views as well as river views from this contemporary 2nd/3rd floor rental. Owner custom designed this home to maximize openness, light and marvelous views. There are 3 very special bedrms each with an additional feature. There is the 'Sand Dollar Suite' with the bonus of a large sitting room overlooking the river. The 'Light House Suite' has the bonus of a large private deck with views. And finally, the 'Perwinkle Suite' has a bonus of a small reading area overlooking the 2nd level. All bedrooms have views. The large living room, dining room and kitchen have wonderful ocean views including the front deck...great also for people watching. The large rear deck is private and faces the river-great for meals, relaxing or sunset enjoyment. Kayak landing 75' from your door. Laundry area is provided. Publc beach access is 2/10ths of mile . Children must be 12 yrs of age or older. Interior pics delayed..work in progress.

But there is so much around to do. ...live theater at Ogunquit Playhouse, Marginal Way, Perkins Cove, trolley rides, Nubble Light, Kennebunkport shops and scenic drives, ocean fishing and boating, golf, antiques, shopping at LL Bean or Kittery Trading Post and shops, art galleries, art museums, whale watching,great restaurants, lobster-clams-seafood-all fresh-biking, surfing, birding or walking the 3 mile sandy beach. Grab a book, sit on the deck and RELAX. Just ask owner to plan your days or for directions or for where to fish.....owner lives in first floor apartment. Her goal is for you to have a great vacation .

As you walk in the door, the first thing you will notice is the ocean view with waves crashing and an occasional lobster boat or sailboat . When you turn around, you'll see the Ogunquit River, kayakers, wildflowers, egrets, geese and the beauty of panoramic views of the wildlife preserve. This is what Maine is all about....you'll hear the ocean, see the ocean and smell the ocean. As you continue to look around ,you'll immediately see great care has been taken to have a spotless and comfortable place for you to enjoy. This is a perfect rental for two couples as each would have their own suite .. Or perhaps friends traveling together want some space, room to be together and room to be apart . If some of your group love the brilliant sun and some love the shade, the front deck and rear deck offer this at the same time. There is also a wonderful outdoor eating area on the rear deck with grill, umbrella table and chairs. Grab a book and relax. Listen to the ocean.

If you are an active person, feel free to bring your bikes. You can keep them behind the garage where you can also keep canoes or kayaks.I would suggest you bring a bike lock to use at all the places you'll cycle to. You can paddle to the Footbridge, the sandy dunes of Ogunquit and the mouth of the river at the huge public beach parking lot area in Ogunquit. Don't forget the golf clubs. You can bring your special beach chairs. Perhaps you are quieter. Bring your books, computer, binoculars and camera. If you sketch, you are in luck.There is something for everyone.....happy vacation.
