  • Once inside this modern home, there are furnishings, fireplace, and art to please the senses. The epicenter of the home is the 1,100-square-foot Great Room, a marvelously inviting place to gather anytime. There are 5 TVs (including flat screens and DVD players in each bedroom), 2 DVR's, a VCR, and stereo. The kitchen is well equipped for those with culinary interests. The very private master bedroom suite has four, large, glass panels of Pella sliding-window-wall that provide a splendid picture of the lake and landscape, to remain etched in your memory. There is a private, outside-door entrance into the master-suite bathroom from the deck. Some of the marvelous foliage on the birch and cedar trees has been preserved in this master suite section of the property, maintaining a view of the natural beauty of the landscape, as well as the lake. With well over 200 feet of water frontage and 400 feet of roadside frontage, the neighbors are not visible on either side of the property.

  • The comfortable sleeping facilities include: King in the master bedroom; Queen-bedded guest room; three twins in a third bedroom; and a Queen-sized sofa-bed in the Great Room (plus additional roll-away double-bed and baby-crib available). Additionally, there are flat screen televisions in every bedroom, with DVD movie and stereo music CD capability, as well as 200 channels, including many premium movie channels for entertainment. Two (2) of the home's televisions have DVR capability. Over 100 feet of railing-edged, expansive deck overlooks the lake, where the lake's end is out-of-sight (so far away), with outside furniture (umbrella table, chairs, lounge chairs, side tables, gas grill, etc.) available. This provides the best access to the multi-million-dollar views, and being on the preferred side of the lake, there is usually a slight breeze daily to keep you cool while sunning, in a virtually pest-free environment -- it is truly 'Heaven on Earth!'

Boat: Dock and motorized hoist -- The creatively designed dock and large sundeck over the lake keep the dock/boat hoist out-of-sight, leaving unobstructed views of the lake from virtually all rooms and the deck (other than nature's own trees). For boaters, the large dock space has four post-bumpers and numerous cleats to tie-up for docking boats/jet skis during the day. In addition, there are both (1) a motorized ShoreStation hoist for a boat and (2) a buoy available for overnight watercraft storage. Although there is virtually no water traffic in this immense section, this part of Torch Lake is considered 'Water-skiers Paradise' -- since most days it offers the smoothest, crystal-clear water for water sports. Boats and jet skis are easily available for rent, including the possibility of delivery.

Superb Restaurants and Places of Interest There are superb restaurants within 5 to 20 minutes, rated among the best in all of Michigan. A complete booklet awaits you, describing and stating all the contact numbers/addresses of these gourmet restaurants, as well as, other great restaurants featuring local fare. Besides the restaurants-a-plenty, there are within 5 minutes to 30 minutes: a great variety of golfing, horseback riding, ferries to places like Beaver Island, entertainment venues, the 45th Parallel demarcation, art shops, video shops, antique shops, specialty museums, fresh fish/seafood, full-service grocery stores, fresh fruit and vegetable stands, etc. You are only moments to Lake Michigan's beach (at this point, less than one-mile away from Torch Lake) with miles of beach for running and playing. You can be as entertained or as laid back as you want -- it's all here for the taking!

Never a Dull Moment while Boating! Traveling on the water by boat from this Torch Lake home, you literally could travel over 50 miles, without seeing the same scenery. Torch Lake is connected by rivers to Lake Bellaire, Clam Lake, Lake Skegemog, and Elk Lake. At the South end of Torch Lake there is the mammoth 'sand bar' that is about 2 miles long, where people go by boat and/or jet skis to swim, wade, play ball, and enjoy the day with others. Fun restaurants with docking are located along the way. This offers a most enjoyably memorable day. An added and very special feature is the fact that there is a motorized hoist for a boat that is part of a large dock, as well as, access to a buoy for extra watercraft.

Relax & Enjoy in Peace or in Action! When not relaxing or playing at the Torch Lake home, you can drive about 15 minutes to: (1) flower-bedecked Charlevoix (fantastic shops/restaurants/main street with breathtaking lake views); (2) Bellaire (Shanty Creek Resort & Schuss Mountain, where skiing abounds and golfing is offered at several courses, including Arnold Palmer-designed 'Legend'); or (3) Elk Rapids (charming downtown/restaurants). Alternatively, travel just 30-40 minutes to: (1) Petoskey (or just beyond to Harbor Springs); or (2) Traverse City, a resort city with all urban amenities, even casinos. You are 15 minutes from exquisite dining in Ellsworth -- the 'Focal Point for Gourmands and Wine Connoisseurs,' where two famous restaurants reside: The Rowe Inn and Tapawingo's. The food: Like Europe's best. The wine: Widest selection of bottles between New York and Chicago. Travel about an hour to nearby 5-mile-long Mackinac Bridge to Michigan's Upper Peninsula or ferry over to Mackinac Island. Come and enjoy!
