Newbury chalet Rental Property Information

Newly constructed home has a cathedral ceiling living area & remote gas fireplace. Full kitchen seats 8 with all the necessities of home including laundry. Two bedrooms (1 Double; 2 Doubles) with two baths are on the main level. The loft boasts a den (1 queen pull-out) with video games, CD player and a third bedroom (2 sets bunks & 1 twin). A large deck showcases quiet mountain views. This vacation retreat is just yards from private Chalk Pond Beach with 2 tennis courts, playground and a basketball court. Lake Sunapee State Beach 6 miles away has a boat landing, beautiful beach area, boat rentals, snack bar, many hiking and biking trails; and great fishing. Mount Sunapee Ski Area is also a 6 mile drive, Pat's Peak Ski Area is 15 miles away, and the Norsk Ski Area is 12 miles away. Adjoining and local trails allow hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding & cross country skiing. Nearby New London offers an outdoor skating rink, many restaurants, markets and shopping opportunities.

The Lake Sunapee area offers year round fun. Summer activities include the private pond a short walk from the front door, and tennis courts out the back door. Lake Sunapee is pristine for boating & fishing. Adjoining and local trails allow hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. New London is a quaint town for shopping, dining and exploring 3 miles from the property and Vermont is 1 hour away. Mount Sunapee, Pat's Peak and Crotched Mountain Ski areas surround the property. The NH snowmobile trails are accessible by a short drive from the house and local merchants have guided snowmobile tours as well. Many community events are held at the mountain and plenty of local equipment rental shops are available. This is a great opportunity to stay so close to so many amenities, yet be secluded in a great neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds.
