Lake Ariel chalet Rental Property Information

This beautiful country home is ideally located on a quiet cul-de-sac which is only a five minute walk from the main lake, pool, and lodge. The community also offers a 10 hole golf course, skiing, restaurant and much more. Beyond the 4 bed, 3 bath layout, the home offers a downstairs game room with a movie area, wood stove, 4-1/2' X 9' Gandy pool table, and dart board. It also has a bedroom & full bath and full size laundry room. The main floor is a lovely great room with vaulted ceilings. A floor to ceiling brick fireplace warms the room on cool nights. The large, fully equipped kitchen has an island, which is great for entertaining and a dining room table that seats 8. Adjacent to the dining room is a huge screened porch which seats four more. There is also a large deck that runs the entire length of the front of the home. This floor also has a large bedroom and a full bath. Upstairs is the master bedroom, full bath and a fourth bedroom. All mattresses and linens are brand new.

Our home is located in The Hideout, one of Pennsylvania's most desirable mountain/lake communities. It is surrounded by the beauty and fun that makes the Poconos such an incredible getaway for people from around the world. It is within 45 minutes of four ski resort areas for winter fun, and only seven miles from Lake Wallenpaupuck, Pennsylvania's largest lake. Besides all of the wonderful activities that are right on the property, local attractions abound with things to do for all. There is horseback riding only 2 miles from the property, and a wonderful walk through interactive zoo 3 miles away. Dozens of antique shops also surround the Lake Ariel region and Scranton/Wilkes Barre offers an unlimited amount of outlet shopping. For my fellow adventurers, skydiving can be enjoyed at the Above the Poconos Drop Zone at Hazleton airport. Of course, Bushkill Falls is also close, offering visitors spectacular views of waterfalls that make this area such an incredible place to vacation.

    50% of rental rate will be due/charged upon return of signed lease. The other 50% will be due/charged 30 days prior to first rental day. Security deposit will be due/charged 3 days prior to first day of lease.

    Cancellation policy:
    Cancellations more than 60 days out will be entitled to a full refund of all monies collected less a processing fee of $25.
    Cancellations between 31-60 days will be entitled to a refund of any monies collected not to exceed 50% of the rental value.
    Cancellations between 0-30 days will not be entitled to refunds of moneys collected except in extreme cases. This will be at the discretion of the leaser.

Additional linens are available for the futons in the house as well as extra pillows and blankets.

The hideout is a four season resort community. It is situated right in the middle of prime Pocono recreation areas. Local area attractions abound through all four seasons in this resort community to include, power boating, sailing, beach going, hiking with great views of the mountains and waterfalls, skiing, skydiving, mountain biking and much more. Information on these and many more attractions/activities can be found in the brochures in the house and I will be happy to give any additional information I can upon request. The following amenities are located within the community itself, some of which are only a five minute walk from the house. 24 hour security, gated entrance, central water and sewer, 42 miles of paved roads, new clubhouse, new lodge, campgrounds, 250 acres of pristine woodlands, golf course, indoor/outdoor tennis, power boat lake, two sand beaches, two heated pools, physical fitness center, craft center, wood craft building, ski lift and lodge.
