Decscription of Property Very cozy home in the village of Edgartown, MA. Can walk to all activities. Located on a very private cul de sac. Children can walk or ride bikes to all activities. Very quiet day and night. Large yard surrounds the house. Attached garage for one car, or bike storage. Home has a basement accessible from in house, or from outside - washer/dryer located in basement.

Information on Edgartown Edgartown is a 350 year old whaling captain's village. Many historic homes, and much history. There are many restaurants on the main street of town, a short walk from the house. There is a movie theatre downtown, again walking distance. The town has a library, a fire station, police station. Edgartown has a beautiful harbor full of sail boats all summer - a short four block+ walk from the house. There is lots of shopping in the village - art galleries, gift shops, book shops, jewelry, clothing, etc. The village is a great walking village - day and evening. The main street is light with gaslight pole lighting. The theme in the village is historic and old New England.

Information on Martha's Vineyard Martha's Vineyard is just off of Cape Cod, in Massachusetts. The island has rich history, beautiful beaches, and stonewalled covered roads throughout the island. Great variety in the different towns on the island - Indian tribe at one end of the island, whaling village at the other end. Lots of outdoor activities - beaches, golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, touring, fishing, clamming, crabbing, sailing, surfing, etc. Night time is active in many of the towns - Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Vineyard Haven - all have restaurants with different foods. Three movie theatres on the island. No national fast food chains. Not stop lights.
