Relax on your shady balcony, overlooking the pool, ocean and gently waving Sea Oats. We want to share the ambiance of one of the few remaining truly natural places. We want you to feel at home, bring the children and your pets. You will have fresh new linens, towels and a kitchen to cook up some local seafood. Spend days relaxing at the white sandy beach or swimming pools, which are steps away. As our guest you will have access to the Beach & Racquet Club's tennis courts, Olympic & kiddie pool, volleyball, fitness center & putting green. An excellent restaurant is nearby and a rental place for beach stuff. Only 14 miles from Beaufort, this historic beautiful artists haven has shopping browsing and sight seeing, carriage rides to learn the history and where movies: Forest Gump, Big Chill and Prince of Tides filmed. No place is better for restoring your mind & spirit than staying in our hideaway. You deserve it!

Lots of birds, porpoise, sea turtles, gulls, herons and pelicans. Hunting Island State Park is the next island with a fishing pier, beach, lighthouse & nature walks. Charter a local captain to go deep sea fishing. Check on time of year for shrimping. Stop at Gay's seafood and watch the trawlers bringing in the days catch. Go online for 'Beaufort on Line', Beaufort Chamber of Commerce & Beaufort Fun Park for current activities and festival dates. Beaufort Museum and Paris Island Museum. Visit ghostly ruins of Sheldon Church, burned by the British and again by Sherman. However, he did not burn Beaufort. So take a carriage ride and see the historical homes of old, along with old trees that have stood the test of time. Be prepared to hear from you companions. 'It is so pretty here' over and over again as you drive around and see the salt marshes and wonders of this lovely area. This is not a tourist town and everything does not close up in winter as it does in tourist trap.
