Our home blends the charm of the 1840s with the comforts of modern life. Whether preparing meals in the gourmet kitchen, reading a book by the woodstove, or pampering yourself with a soak in the clawfoot tub, this house makes it easy to get away from it all. You can also swim in a lap pool, watch cable TV, or enjoy one of the two two-headed showers. The 1st floor has a large dining area, full kitchen, living room, family room (with convertible couch), a bonus room with an organ, two full bathrooms, laundry, and a heated mudroom. The 2nd floor features four bedrooms and ample closet space, with the back bedroom offering mountain views. Behind the house is a large deck with a lap pool, and sizable backyard with red barn. Enjoy all that Newfane has to offer, from a charming village of fine dining, country stores, and antique shops, to a Sunday flea market. The area is rich in activities for both urbanite and outdoors person. And getting to Newfane is quick and mostly traffic-free.
