Snowshoe, tube, skate, take a moonlight sleigh ride or a walk on a snowy evening. Spring, summer and fall hike many of the great, easy or challenging, trails in the Crawford and Franconia Notch area. Take the kids to Story Land and Santa's Village. Thirty minutes will have you outlet shopping and enjoying restaurants in No. Conway. Antiquing starts just down the road in Bethlehem. Summer theater and local band stand concerts will entertain you all summer. Enjoy a ride on the Cog Railway to spectacular views from the summit of Mt. Washington. Kitchen has granite counter and is well stocked with large pots, casserole dishes and crock pot for family cooking, including a griddle for lots of pancakes. Grill on the deck year round; propane always connected. We supply laundry detergent, dish detergent, toilet tissue, paper towels, hand and bath soap, a hair dryer in each bathroom. The Best of Getaway Spots and Winter Snow is Here! It's not too early to make your winter plans for a weekend at the Mount Washington Resort. We still have a few weekends left so check our calendar or give us a call and pick one for your family and friends. Enjoy short lift lines and fabulous snow. The skiing and riding just doesn't get better than this in New England. This is wear the snow flies and the groomers work their magic. Enjoy great views of Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range from our livingroom for apres ski, and cozy evenings in front of the wood fireplace. Travel Plans to Utah?? We now own a condo in Utah between Snowbasin and Powder Mountain at Wolf Creek Utah. A year round recreation area that offers all kinds of mountain, lake, and river recreation (just ask us) along with the most amazing skiing in the west without the crowds or travel problems (no canyon road shutdowns, etc). One hour north of Salt Lake City airport, a shuttle will take you from the resort 10 minutes up to Powder Mountain, or drive 20 minutes to Snowbasin, home of the 2002 Olympics. Powder Mtn. has the most skiable terrain in the country at 5500 acres and in addition to groomed trail offers heli skiing, cat skiing and snow kiting, along with over 500' avg snowfall; no snowmaking here!
