Sharon's Cabin On The Sound is a 5 bedroom, 5 bath, vacation rental, located in Sitka, Alaska, one of Southeast Alaska's most popular salmon and halibut fishing locations. Enjoy an Alaskan sunset from the warmth of your beach side hot tub. Drink coffee while watching eagles dive for their breakfast. Otters, whales and unbelievable amounts of eagles all are viewable from your breakfast deck. And, you're less than ten minutes from downtown Sitka. Each bedroom has phone, cable TV, VCR and private bath. There is also a large kitchen, living area and upper and lower deck. There is also a waterfront hot tub. Go fishing, hiking, whale viewing and more! Many trails within walking distance of lodge.

About us Sharon's Cabin on The Sound is a large family-style cabin, managed by CH and Sharon Romine, longtime Sitka residents. Residents are kept in line by 'Lucy' our lovable Black Lab. With 5 bedrooms and 5 baths, and located on the waterfront, better accommodations can't be found. Fish from the front of the cabin, look for ocean treasures in tide pools. Watch eagles fish out front.

Unbelievable drive up Harbor Mountain Harbor Mountain Drive, the most scenic drive on our island starts right across the road from us. Rising up to 3,000 feet, it offers spectacular views of Sitka and surrounding islands and waterways. Halibut Point Rec is less than a mile, with many trails, pic nic tables and more, is only one of many scenic parks that are close by.

Close to town and city bus stop The city transient bus also stops just a few yards away from our front door and the airport and ferry both have shuttles that will drop you at the front.

Golf Information: Golf course just a couple of miles away. Build your golfing experience on this challenging course.
