50 Feet from Atlantic Ocean / Fripp Inlet & Ocean Point Golf Course, Wi-Fi & Elevator: If you and your family would like to enjoy a worry-free vacation on a low-key wildlife preserve, where dolphins play directly in front of your third floor balcony & master bedroom window, and the deer roam freely, then Fripp is your island. No Flashy Glitz, zero traffic congestion. Fripp is a private, gated island, 1.5 hours from Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA. 15 minutes from Fripp, is the historical town of Beaufort - with its many riverfront intracoastal waterway restaurants, antique stores, & excellent historical tours. The island offers a pristine 3.5 mile beach, which is wide, very gradually sloping, w/ gentle Atlantic waters. Our villa complex has its own pool, for use only by our building's guests. Other highlights include 2 championship golf courses; club & restaurants; miles of nature filled bikeways; marina w/ rentals; nature programs for children. Totallyrenovated in 2006.

Fripp Island is a private resort, close to the historic Beaufort and within close proximity to restaurants and numerous activities...within driving distance to Charleston SC and Savannah GA. Our home was totally renovated in March of 2006. The builder did a beautiful job and I know you would be very comfortable. Our place has brand new everything, from beach towels and linens to new washer, dryer, kitchen & appliances, and 2 totally new bathrooms. We also have a DVD and wireless DSL internet, so you can plug in right on the deck and surf while looking at the water. We also have 4 beach chairs and a beach umbrella in the 2nd bedroom closet. The LR/Balcony/MBR face the water, direct east, and I cannot describe how beautiful the sunrises and moonrises are. There is a 3.5 mile beach, catty corner to our condo. We are on the narrower part of the beach, at the northern tip of the island. Most guests go to the widest part which is mid-island, 1 mile away, at the busiest part of island.

    $70 Housekeeping Fee, for 3 nights or fewer.
    Additional Amenity cards may be purchased for all Fripp Resort activities - golf, tennis, restaurants, pools, etc. - required for those age 12 & older, $25 (3-day, off seasons), $35 (3-day, summer), $50 (weekly, summer) p.p.
    Monthly rental is available for Fall and/or Winter.

Phone, Air Conditioning, 2 Cable TVs, 2 DVD's, Fully-equipped Kitchen w/ Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Cooking Utensils, Linens, Washer & Dryer. Pool, Elevator. Sorry, no smoking, and no pets. DSL. Facing Atlantic and Fripp Inlet, quieter and less busy than center island. Only one with an elevator. Pool between the ocean and condominium. We are located in the N. Hampton Building, 3rd floor, (end-unit, sun-filled all day, east/south/west). After you pass through Security, you continue straight, look for the sign on the right, which directs you to the Left, 'Remora Drive', toward 'Ocean Point'. Off Island If you feel like any off-island exploration, 15 miles west of Fripp is the picturesque, historical town of Beaufort (a scaled-down version of Charleston, 2nd oldest town in SC – it is a beautiful and historic city with southern charm - Forrest Gump, The Big Chill and others were filmed in and near Beaufort; you will go through part of the town, on your way to Fripp), which was recently rated by Kiplinger’s magazine as a top retirement town. The town has a beautiful riverfront (Intra Coastal waterway), lined with restaurants and waterfront swings, as well as many unique stores and historical tours. . Also, Hunting Island State Park is the island before our end-of-the-road, over-the-bridge Fripp Island. The park provides guests with free fishing equipment, for use on Hunting Island.

Weather All you need for a wonderful beach vacation, at our villa, are your personal, can't-do-without items; and food (or just relax at the restaurants)! Average Daily Temperature: Winter, 65; Summer, 85 with less worry over hurricanes than other seasonal vacations spots. Check out the USA Today website, topic 'U.S. Hurricane Probablilities'.
