Figure Eight Island is a private island on the Southern Coast of NC just minutes from downtown Wilmington, NC. This island is only accessible to owners and their guests so you are assured a peaceful vacation with miles of fabulous, uncrowded beach. Located on a high soundfront bluff just across from the beach path to the ocean. This home has 360 degree views of the white sandy beaches, ocean, sound and beyond. There is a boat dock on the sound which is great for kayaking, canoeing, crabbing, and fishing. The home is surrounded by the natural vegetation of the island which makes it fabulous for bird watching. The beaches are great for surfing and surf fishing; visitors will appreciate the shear bliss of quiet crowdless beaches. The beach house is cozy yet roomy with many updates. One of the best views on the Island, the home is very comfortable and casual.

Location

On the island enjoy the beach, cycling, tennis, boating, fishing and crabbing, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, peace and quiet. Leaving the island you will find many fine restaurants, golf, art galleries, music, museums, Wilmington's historic district, antiquing, and children's activities.
