Marsh Hawk Cottage is a spectacular Nantucket home situated on a one-acre country setting that offers you all of the comforts and pleasures of Nantucket. Included among these is the luxury and convenience of a full size in-ground pool that is lit for nighttime enjoyment and heated for those of you who want bathtub warmth for their swimming experience. Privet hedge surrounds the pool and a large grass lawn provides lots of room to play family games or just lay in the grass and dream. The home is centrally air-conditioned for those days when the cool breezes don't provide all of the comfort that you would like. Adjacent to the pool is your large 'L' shaped deck that will be a focal point of your stay. The deck has a large table, just the thing to bring your family and friends together to enjoy food prepared on the large gas barbecue grill located just off the deck. In addition the outdoor shower, such a treat, will have you wanting to build one of your own at home.

The entire home has central air-conditioning for your comfort when the island breezes aren't enough. The galley-style kitchen with open floor plan and casual dining area flows into the living room, which was designed to be comfortable as well as beautiful. A stunning fireplace graces a wall and will provide wonderful warmth on a cool evening.

Each bedroom has been designed to provide a beautiful and relaxing environment. Two of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds and one is full-sized. Linens are the finest 600-count cotton and the bath towels are luxurious. A comfortable 2nd floor sitting room with TV and DVD and a separate full bath provides the master suite with a secluded, private escape.

There are four televisions in the house each with a DVD player. In the living room is a 200-watt sound system for Cd's and radio. Art work and prints have been hung thoughtfully throughout the home. Each room in Marsh Hawk Cottage has been carefully decorated to a high level of quality and detail.

Guest Book Dear Paul & Jo Ann, First off my wife and I would like to thank you for a great time last week at your beautiful cottage. Let me say that the cottage was even better then your description and photos that were posted on the Internet. The cottage was just the right combination of paired down traditional with a twist of sophisticated country, appropriate for Nantucket living today. Even more spectacular was the pool. The pool, was created with the same thought as the house. The setting with the privet surrounding it was so chic and simple that it only enhanced the cottage as opposed to overwhelming it. As you can see I can't say enough. It seems like such a simple thing to do but as you know it takes a lot more work to pull 'simple' off! Again, thank you for a great vacation. Scott McFarlane
