Bethel condo Rental Property Information

This beautiful, slope side 3 story townhouse/condominium at Sunday River Ski Resort in Bethel, Maine is one of the newest, biggest and brightest condos on the mountain. If you have ever been disappointed by small, unkempt and expensive condos in the rental program at Sunday River, this is a completely different experience (ask us how we know!). This condo, part of the Locke Mountain townhouse community, is an end unit with no neighboring building and provides a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, whether it's indoors looking out or standing on the 2nd floor deck. This condo is exquisitely appointed with art prints/objects, handmade rugs, and oak/maple furnishings. There are 3 bedrooms, one on each floor, with a full bathroom for each.

Sunday River offers a multitude of activities in both winter and summer. In winter, skiers and riders will love Sunday River's 8 peaks, with 4 parks and 2 half pipes, and a variety of slopes, from moguls to glades. There is snow tubing, snowshoeing, snow cat rides, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, ice skating, swimming in the Locke Mountain heated outdoor pool and hot tub (this is year-round), and fireworks every Saturday and most Thursdays during the season. There is the Black Diamond Family Entertainment Series, offering a variety of internationally acclaimed artists as well as many bands that come the lodges. One of the highlights is the Budweiser Aerial Assault, which is a national tour of Olympic freestyle riders and skiers. It's outstanding! Summer offers a brand new Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed 18-hole golf course, mountain biking, hiking, skate park, ATV tours, canoe/kayak rentals and tours, white water rafting, and horseback riding.

First Floor Layout & Description The first floor bedroom is one huge room, about 28'x40', with a king bed, TV/VCR/cable, a sofa, table and chairs, foosball table, and room for other people to sleep if need be (there are other mattresses in the closet). Additionally, on the first floor there is an adjoining laundry room and a door leading outside for ski in/ski out.

Second Floor Layout & Description The second floor is open concept, with a living room, fireplace, kitchen with enough appliances to create a gourmet dinner (Cuisinart, KitchenAid, etc.), and dining area with a bow window. The second floor bedroom has a queen bed, as well as a bathroom. There are also two sofabeds in the living room. There is a lockable closet for holding your skis/boards/equipment right outside the front door, as well as a firewood bin, which is restocked at your request, free of charge. There is a tiled mudroom with many hooks for your ski apparel.

Third Floor Layout & Description The third floor bedroom has 2 twin beds. Additionally, there is a loft area that overlooks the living room with 2 twin beds and a full bath.

Guest Book There is a state park nearby, including a breathtaking glacial flume called Screw Auger Falls, and a bit north, the gigantic clear Lake Richardson, complete with loons. The town of Bethel, Maine offers restaurants, shopping, grocery store, movie theater, and the Big Adventure Center, which is a kids indoor activity center, which has miniature golf, laser tag and water slides in the summer.
