Let Little Red be your quiet getaway for a weekend or use it as your home base for the incredible selection of recreation in the Shenandoah Valley and DC area. In addition to the comfortable furnishings, the spacious great room, the cozy fireplace, and the breezy shaded deck overlooking the water, we have equipped Little Red with a full range of guide books and brochures descibing the local wineries, golf, historic sites, fishing, river tours, parks, and festivals. Montpelier, Monticello, and all the attractions of Washington, DC are easy day trips. How sweet it is!

Restaurants, groceries, etc Front Royal has plenty of great choices for dining out and for grocery shopping - no need to pack in all your supplies! Martin's in Front Royal has a wide selection of groceries, in addition to carry outs and organic whole foods. For a really special dinner, check out Griffin Tavern or Four and Twenty Blackbirds in Flint Hill - a little further, but worth the drive.
