Ocean City house Rental Property Information

Beach house, Four BR w/ 2.5 baths located in family friendly Ocean City, NJ. Our lovely home sleeps 8 plus two small children on couches. Top floor, central air, 2 decks, jacuzzi, with beach decor. The main living area is spacious with a Southern living setting, LR, DR, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary conveniences. All four bedrooms have large walk-in closets. There are twin beds in all but the master bedroom. Master bedroom has queen sized bed with private shower and jacuzzi. There are TVs in LR, master BR, and one spare BR for the kids. LR TV has access to on demand movies. Access is also available to DVD and VHS players. Washer and dryer in unit. Outside showers and clothes- line on property. Garage with additional off-street parking.

Ocean City provides opportunities for boat rentals, para sailing, bicycling - bike rentals available, famous 23 block long boardwalk concessions and shopping, miniature golf, water slides, kiddie amusement parks, within 8 blocks of playground, tennis courts, basketball courts. Downtown shopping. Churches. Restaurants. Large Acme grocery store and CVS drug store at 34th street. Beach house is located at the south end of the island but convenient to Acme, CVS, 34th Street playground. 4210 Asbury. 2nd Floor. We rent to families. Signer of contract must be 25 years of age or older, and present at the property during rental.

1 queen, 4 twins, bunk bed set with two beds. Beach tags furnished; covered front deck; outside showers; clothes line; garage; off-street parking; back deck off master bedroom; skylights. Smooth top range, self cleaning oven. Fans in all bedrooms. TV with VCR and DVD player in living room. TV with VCR in master bedroom. TV in children's room. Free on demand movies, no pay per view. From Memorial Day till Labor day, Ocean City runs bus service from the south end of the island to downtown. Bus stop less than a block away on Central Avenue. Memorial Day till Labor Day, trash pickup every Wednesday and Saturday. Off season, every Monday. Exterior re-sided with vinyl Spring 2005. We maintain our beach house. We ask those who come and use the beach house to be respectful of the tenants who will follow. Normal wear and tear understood but wanton or thoughtless damage not tolerated.

Bus Service Especially useful during peak summer weeks is the Ocean City free bus service which picks up one block over at 42nd St and Central Avenue. Bus schedule available. Starts approximately 9:30 AM and goes to boardwalk and back every hour and a half. Free City service ends about 1:30 PM. Supplemented by private service (@ $2.00 per person each way) that starts at 1:00 PM and runs till 11:00 PM from the Board walk area. This service is a great relief for parking in July and August. Parking places are at a premium and cost up to $10 near the board walk area. Details are listed in information book at the house.

Please! No pets or smoking indoors / Beach Passes No smoking indoors And, while we do provide beach passes, we do not put that in our contract as we cannot be certain previous tenant has not lost the passes. But we do furnish four passes. There is a $30 deduction from your security deposit if you lose a pass. In seven years of providing passes, we have had only two occasions of lost passes. Question: In all honesty, what use does a visiting tenant from Central PA have for Ocean City beach passes? Passes are never stolen but sometimes lost accidentally. So, we put the passes out in a zip lock bag on the counter in the kitchen. Best advice is NOT to hand out individual passes, just take the entire bag to the beach. When the beach patrol asks to see passes, just wave the bag. We have never had the beach patrol count passes and compare to beach revelers present.

Community Center Community Center with indoor pool and gym vicinity of Golf Course on Bay Avenue, daily and weekly usage rates.

Golf Information: Ocean City Golf Course is on Bay Avenue about 2 miles from the beach house. This is a chip and put course only. Rates are reasonable: $8 for adults and $6 for children, last I checked.
