Set on one grassy acre bordered by a stone wall and trees, the house has large airy rooms, a field stone fireplace, newly-painted interiors and hardwood floors. There is a deck off the kitchen with a view of the barn and woods. Behind the house is a picnic area with a large picnic table and charcoal grill.
Stroll down Ferry Lane to Eggemoggin Reach and swim, sunbathe, or launch your boat. The area is ideal for canoeing, kayaking, hiking, cycling, and beach combing. Visit antique shops, art galleries, and restaurants, play golf or tennis, explore nearby islands. Enjoy theater, music and films at Stonington's Opera House, watch the day's catch arrive at the fishing pier, or hop the mail-boat to Isle au Haut. Off-island destinations include Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Castine, and Blue Hill.

Second bedroom features four-poster double bed, bureau and wicker lounge-chair. Third bedroom has two single beds, a child's crib, a bureau and selection of children's books. All rooms have large windows & country views. Linens, blankets & fans are provided for each room.
