Brownfield, Pequawket Pond cabin Rental Property Information

Cozy country cabin in secluded area on private Lake Peqwaket in Brownfield. Quiet, yet close (20 minutes) to North Conway shopping and skiing. For the winter: One hour to Sunday River, 45 minutes to Attitash/Bear Peak/Wildcat, 15 minutes to Shawnee Peak. Romantic fireplace, fired by propane...no need to stoke, clean, pack firewood, etc. For the summer: Includes sandy, shady private beach with shallow sandy bottom for kids and gentle drop to about 15 - 20 feet. House includes almost all amenities for comfort included bath with shower, fireplace/propane heat, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, gas grill, outside picnic table, wall to wall carpeting, queen bed in the master, bunk room with full and twin bunk. All plates, cutlery, TV with VCR/DVD and a small collection of movies.

Location

So much to do year round! Close to skiing, shopping, snowmobiling, x-country, fishing, hunting, sleeping, hiking, more. In the summer, there's swimming, canoeing on the lake, or just 4 miles to Brownfield Canoe Rentals on the Saco. Burnt Meadow Mountain and other AMC hikes within 4 miles; Antique center in Cornish 10 miles away; Mt Douglas is a high mountain but with parking close to the top so it's an easy climb even for young kids, but with a great view. In the fall there's hiking and foliage trips, only 1 hour from Mt Washington and hiking or the cog railway, 45 min to the Alpine Slide at Attitash or Story Land; Lots of outlet shopping in North Conway 20 minutes away; hunting is allowed nearby throughout the fall with no parking issues - just walk from the cottage into the woods.
