Rental Rates for the house in Western Michigan, Michigan, USA
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- $850-$1,175/week
- Stays less than one month will incur county room tax(5%) of basic rate.
Two months before stay commences 1/2 total is due.
One month before stay commences remaining balance is due.
Damage Deposit is $200.00 & Cleaning Fee is $50.00.
Both are refundable after home is inspected & found to be left tidy.
If there are no damages or costs incurred along with an overall cleanliness,
the $250.00 is usually returned in less than a week.
To reserve Pedler's Paradise a personal or cashier's check, money order,
or credit card info must be received & cleared.
Check-in can be at 3pm or anytime thereafter.
Check-out must be no later than 10am or before.
A signed contract is also required. - Cancellation & Refund:
We understand that sometimes circumstances can change due to unexpected events.
We feel as caring persons we can only handle each situation as it may present itself.
Due to our own situation we have as you might say a 'general rule of thumb'.
If partial or all payments have been made & there must be a cancellation,
then we have to see if it's possible to rebook the same dates.
We will try our hardest to be fair & understanding in these matters.
Our reputation & your future business is also important to us.
The best assurance of covering a possible loss would be to contact your travel or insurance agent.
They can usually provide trip insurance.

Further Details for the house in Western Michigan, Michigan, USA
2009 Spring Remodeling Pedler's has been transformed in the upper & lower level. Two new, matching swag stained glass hanging lamps are at each end of the living room. These are very attractive from the inside or out. The TV/DVD/VCR is mounted out of the way on the wall. The living room & area around the woodstove has a new coat of brighter paint. An antique quarter-cut oak pedestal table is sitting near the front door. The bunk bedroom has a new window, new beds & mattresses, newer dresser, & a new coat of paint that is much brighter than before. The queen bed bedroom has a new window, wood headboard, and antique dresser & mirror from the 1920's. The bath has new, vinyl flooring & a wider-style shower curtain. Annie has made a list of all the items that are available to be used in the kitchen & where they are located. There are several antique tables and stands throughout. The downstairs has a very nice antique wardrobe, china cabinet, and table/chairs.
Lower Level Remodeling This was a renovation we are very proud of. The walls & trim have been painted with a much nicer color scheme than before. The new carpet is top quality. A beautifully finished antique chifferobe(chest of drawers with clothes hanging area & mirror) is our nicest addition. The TV/Stereo cabinet area is located more out of the way, but more visible. We also put new carpeting in the entrance area steps. The privacy this can provide for that extra couple to retreat to is handy. It could also be used as a 'master suite' with all the extra space besides the sleeping area. Another use could be as a separate area for the kids to watch their own tv programs. It's not advisable to leave kids in this area that need to be watched more closely.
Landscaping Each year we do some things to make the yard area better than the year before. Our biggest addition this year will be to include a woodstove on the patio. We decided this is something people many times like to have while on vacation. We try to add more annuals & perennials each year. The wooden fence along the back border has a new coat of stain & looks great. Fresh paint on the lawn equipment shed in the back part of the lot is a lot more attractive. This is separate from the cottage & not included for guests to use.

Other Activities Beach Volleyball, Miniature & Frisbee Golf, Batting Cages, Rollerblading & Skateboard Park, LST Ship night movies & Drive-in Theater, & Kite Boarding
