Truro house Rental Property Information

This newly built contemporary Cape is at the end of a cul-de-sac on over an acre of private wooded land in a lovely residential neighborhood. The house is bright and sunny with pine floors, new appliances and furnishings, including down stuffed sofa and chairs in the living room with a TV/ DVD/VHS player, antiques and Cape Cod art. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths (one with a skylight), open dining/ living room and a large fully equipped kitchen with island. The upstairs master bedroom has a swivel TV with cable/DVD player, a separate dressing /office room and walk-in closet. All bedrooms have new pillowtop mattresses with quality bedding. Sliders in the dining room lead to an outside deck with a new Weber gas grill, and a view of the surrounding woods - a great place to enjoy the sunsets. An outdoor shower, dining table and chairs with umbrella, picnic table, round tree bench under an old oak tree and a hammock are all here for your summer fun and relaxation.

Location

It is a 6 - 8 minute drive to some of Truro's most beautiful beaches, notably Long Nook and Balston ocean beachs along the untouched National Seashore with their spectacular sand dunes or to Corn Hill Beach on the bayside with calmer waters and beautiful sunsets which is just perfect for younger children. The National Seashore trails are right near the house where you can take a peaceful walk through the beach forest out to the ocean at Long Nook beach. Wonderful sites and activities nearby include the Highland Lighthouse and Museaum, the Highland Golf Course, wine tasting at Truro Vinegards as well as hiking, bike trails and great local theatre. Provincetown and Wellfleet are each a 10 minute drive away where you can find great restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, whale watch and dune tours, and fabulous art galleries. It is just a couple of minutes to Rte 6 for fresh seafood, an organic farm stand, package goods, ice cream, and everything to make your barbecue complete!
