There are two golf courses on the island and wonderful bicycling.

Skiing Information: Less than one hour from....... Whiteface Mountain in New York site of 2 winter Olympics. Smugglers Notch Vermont repeatedly voted best family ski area for several years yet also has Vermont's largest vertical drop and triple black diamond slopes Stowe, Sugarbush and Jay Peak slighly over one hour Multiple crosscountry resorts including world famous Trapp Family Lodge (of 'Sound of Music' fame)
