Spanish Wells house Rental Property Information

The Bahamas Beach House is situated on the best part of the beautiful pink powder sand beach of Spanish Wells, Bahamas with stunning waterfront views of inviting turquoise waters. Stroll one of the most scenic 2 1/2 mile stretches of beach in the Bahamas while enjoying a variety of beach activities. The house comes fully furnished. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a queen sofa bed in the downstairs den. The backyard of the house offers a safe grassed area and sits right on the beach. There is a gas barbecue and patio furniture if you would like to grill your fresh catch and dine outdoors. We provide a double sea kayak and there are three bikes available. There are three well-stocked grocery stores within walking distance. You may also buy lobster locally. Boats are available to rent. You may rent a golf cart or use the House's bicycles to tour the island and visit native quilt makers and straw vendors.

Spanish Wells is a charming and peaceful island where you will escape the throngs of tourists and commercialism. It is not unusual to have miles of stretches of beach to yourself. The locals take pride in their island, whose economy is based on a thriving lobster industry. While you may just want to relax with a book and look out over the stunning view from your beach front, there are many things to do. The Bahamas Beach House is located near great bone fishing flats. You can fly fish or enjoy swimming or shelling on the beach. You will also find terrific reef fishing and snorkeling on the world famous Devil's Backbone Barrier Reef located just a 1/4 mile offshore. There are local fishing and snorkeling guides available or you may rent your own boat for fishing, kayaking and snorkeling excursions. Guest Book Johnny the Caretaker was absolutely the nicest person you want to meet, no exaggerations. He took us from the dock to the cottage in his pick up, a stone's throw away from the prettiest white sand beach. I love falling asleep every night to the sound of gentle waves crashing the shores. The Beach house was cool as you have described even in June with NO BUGS in the backyard as promised, I was never afraid to walk to the beach barefooted. We choose to anchored the 19' Mako (rented) in front of the house and made a little buoy so when the tide is low, we can still get out. Thankfully we had no problem whatsoever during the ten days. I found your secret recipe with the ice cream maker, what a tasty discovery! Now I am addicted to home made pineapple-coconut ice cream, with real coconuts we got from a tree. I got an ice cream maker for my birthday on 6/15, so now my life is complete. Cheryl from Los Angeles
