Lake Oconee house Rental Property Information

Beautiful four-year old home is located on a private cul-de-sac in a planned community and in a very quiet cove on prestigious Lake Oconee. Arrive from Atlanta or Athens in just over one hour or from Augusta in under two hours and you are sure to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life. Just minutes from Reynolds Plantation and many other well-known and prestigious golf courses. Our house is surrounded by large oak trees and sits back from the quiet street with a soccer-field-sized front yard. The backyard is flat and fenced in which keeps unsupervised children away from the lake. There is a maxidock which is great for fishing and swimming. Tie-ups are provided on the dock for boats. Large deck with gas grill and umbrella table for dining outdoors. Four bedrooms all on the main level. This is an ideal home for children (toys included) and for elderly people who cannot manage steps easily.

Lake Oconee is well known for its many golf courses. A favorite vacation spot for sports enthusiasts and fishermen. One of the best bass fishing lakes in the southeast. There is hiking, biking, golf, tennis, miniature golf, fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, target shooting at the new Gun Club, horseback riding, shopping, sightseeing, swimming, boating, waterskiing, jet skiing. You can rent jet skis, boats and kayaks from several nearby marinas. Several day spas including one at the new Ritz Carlton. Incredible shopping and antique shopping in nearby Madison, Eatonton and Greensboro. If none of these activities appeals to you, just sit back and watch the swans, blue herons, deer and ducks while enjoying the sights and sounds of the lake.
