Our ocean beach has great boogie- and skim-boarding, body surfing, fishing or just relaxing. Three minutes to very good surfing beaches. Two blocks to playground with swings and slide, tennis and basketball. Walk to Black Point Grill, short drive to Spain Restaurant or clam shacks. Three miles to batting cages, mini-golf, go-carts, in-line skating. Area is relatively flat for good walking, bicycles or jogging. South County Bike Path nearby. Lots of restaurants around-from fancy to family style. Twenty minutes to Newport, 45 min. to Foxwoods or Mystic.

Beaches The beach closest to the house (walking distance) is Scarborough Beach. Being on a peninsula, there are several other beach options. Additionally, there are beaches with playgrounds for small children and surfing beaches. As an overall, Scarborough is a family oriented beach.
The neighborhood: Eastward Look Eastward Look is fairly popular with summer visitors. The neighborhood amenities include tennis, basketball court and playground. The neighborhood is set up such that walking, bike riding and roller blading are all activities that can take place within the neighborhood safely (which is great for children). The house has a garage, so bikes and other sporting equipment can easily be kept in the garage.
