Quintana Beach Named as Texas Monthy (June 2007) as one of the best beaches in Texas, ranking third! 500' to the beach, and you can choose the pedestrian beach within the Quintana Beach County Park, or a vehicular beach and drive to the mouth of the Brazo's River. Fishing is great whether off the pier, in the surf or on the jetty.

Birding in Quintana Located across the street is the Neotropical Bird Sanctuary. Known for its migratory sighting, Quintana is well known in the birding community. The addition of an observation tower add a breath taking view of the island. The Xeriscape Park, located across the street from the County Park, is under construction, but is open to viewing also.
