This peaceful, secluded rural retreat is a spectacular converted 1840 barn on Old Moses Farm, a 100+ acre hill farm in historic Strafford Vermont. Enjoy beautiful unspoilt views from every window. It is charmingly decorated and fully furnished on three floors. Surrounded by fields and meadows, woodlands with 300 year old maples, there are miles of trails on the farm and in Downer State Forest for walking, hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing. There is a stocked trout pond, and the home is within walking distance to the town swimming pond. It's a short drive to White and Connecticut Rivers for fishing and kayaking. Centrally located: Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, 20 minutes; Vermont Law School, 15 minutes; Woodstock, VT, 40 minutes; Ascutney, 40 minutes; Killington, 1 hour; Montpelier, 1 hour; 6.5 miles from I-89.

Picnic on the highest crest on the farm and enjoy the views into New Hampshire. Fish, tube and kayak on the White and Connecticut Rivers. Hike the Appalachian and Long Trails nearby. In winter, cross-country ski to the historic village of Strafford. Snowshoe in our woodlands. Ski at Ascutney, Suicide Six, Dartmouth Skiway, Pico and Killington. Attend music, dance and theatrical performances at Dartmouth's Hopkins Center, Pentangle Council on the Arts in Woodstock, the Chandler Music Hall in Randolph and the Lebanon Opera House in Lebanon. Visit Woodstock, Billings Farm, the Vermont Raptor Center, Quechee Gorge, the Montshire Museum in adjacent Norwich and the Simon Pearce glassworks. Attend the Tunbridge World's Fair in September.
