Train station 5 min from cottage. 30 Min from Portsmouth, NH.

National Wildlife and Birding mecca Plum Island is a world famous birding destination. The Parker River Wildlife refuge is an 8 mile preserve along the ocean loaded with natural vegetation, hundreds of bird species, wildlife and dunes. The Mass Audubon gives bird banding tours and conducts many family activities. Also, visit the Parker River Wildlife headquarters and nature museum.
