    Non-refundable rental deposit of 50% of the rental rate required upon booking; balance + all fees plus deposit are due 30 days prior to arrival.Confirmation for rental with agreed upon pricing & occupancy will be provided upon receipt of deposit. Deposit check received presumes rental agreement, rates and terms.

    Some partial weeks in the off peak season may be available, 2 night minimum; a cleaning fee still applies.

    Until confirmed,rates are subject to change. Linens + towels can be rented.

    We're glad to extend --and share-- our second home with you! We've enjoyed hundreds of hours here over the years & we believe that you will too.
  • Security deposit required with all rentals & shall be destroyed or used based on:1. move out condition: neat and tidy as you will find it 2. nothing missing, damaged or broken 3. phone charges 4.utility (gas,electric,water,sewer) charges that exceed our determination of average use.We ask that you are respectful & considerate of our home as our guests.

    Rental rates quoted are based on occupancy of 2 adults and two children under age 12. Rate shall increase with more than 2 adults-like any hotel.

    This is a small, simple cottage in a glorious location, which many dozens of families,couples,honeymooners have enjoyed. Sadly, this treasured home and location has no water 'off season.' Therefore it is closed Oct 16- April 14.

    New this year: Dogs less than 20 lbs MIGHT be considered/negotiated with an additional daily pet fee ($15) like any hotel.Best if dogs are a hypo-allergenic breed, like Westies or small poodles.Sorry, NO CATS. Too many people, including owners, are allergic.

No extra charge for 3 boats!Great romantic get-away or fun for a family!Many couples have honeymooned here! Very private, quiet, & away from it all yet only 2 miles to bustling Harbor downtown.Kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, spices;puzzels, board games, fireplace and reading library.Paddles & oars, life jackets, teak Adirondack chairs + hassocks, swimming rafts & toys. Lovely southwest exposure and sunsets. Enjoy grilling seafood, steaks and s'mores, then eat at waters edge on the picni!c table. Our large dock was completely rebuilt Oct.08 & is adjacent to a lakeside beach accessible from the lawn by stone steps.Bring books,camera,sweaters,fishing poles,swim suits, towels & lotion!Take a paddle around the twin lakes, cast a line for fishing, feast on lobsters that you cook (or buy precooked!) outside on the dock or teak picnic table.Stay at our peaceful lakeside retreat for rest and relaxation.You'll have a vacation you'll truly enjoy, remember and treasure.

If oysters are your thing, don't miss our locally cultivated (& shipped all over USA) oysters- especially those from the Damariscotta River.Join a boat excursion to Cabbage Island for an authentic lobster & clam bake. Boothbay also offers other cuisine:authentic Italian (chef summers here but is from Italy) Chinese, Vietnamese, traditional American and even a few good pizza joints! Bars serve locally brewed beers and great chowders. Several of them often host local and regional musicians for live evening week-end entertainment. Fresh fruit, veggies, and preserves are sold weekly (Thurs am) at the farmer's market on the Boothbay Common. Local homemade ice cream, fudge, taffy & candy-- all down town by the harbor-- is a must!
