Skiing, skiing and skiing! Breckenridge is famous for lots of fluffy powder skiing! Downhill Alpine, cross country Nordic, hiking, biking, horseback riding, river rafting, shopping (many art stores/galleries in town with sculpture, paintings, Indian/Southwest items, hours and days of browsing!). Nearby Silverthorne has a huge factory outlet center and many large super stores. There is a supermarket in town and Walmart is only about 15 minutes away.

Excellent shopping is nearby. You can even walk to town. Breckenridge is a REAL town, main street is amazing, super picturesque, lots of stores and restaurants. Great Antique and art galleries in town have paintings, sculpture, western and Indian lore, etc. Big supermarket in town. 5 minute drive. Walmart in Frisco, 20 minute drive. 1/2 hour drive to Silverthorne with fantastic outlet shopping malls and superstores.
